TV show trailer for The CW‘s The 100, Remember Me. The 100 ended the first half, of its current season with the death of a principal character. While this could have been considered something of a trend, this year, the major write-off from The 100 was more of a grand sacrifice – a combination mercy killing/ peacemaker gesture, which averted all-out war, and quieted belligerent agitators on both sides.

It just wouldn’t be primetime suspense-drama if that scenario was actually allowed to play out, would it?

No, there will be plenty of falling out to come, from the winter break fallout, starting with a literal poisoning of the peace talks. Accusations are thrown, weapons drawn, and the proceedings reduced to a potential knife-fight-in-a-phone-booth, as the Sky People are locked in with their Grounder hosts/ accusers.

Making matters worse: the agitators, on both sides, get back on message. While Indra (Adina Porter) presses for a final solution, to the Grounder’s Sky People problem, Raven (Lindsey Morgan) makes it clear to Clarke (Eliza Taylor) that Finn’s (Thomas McDonell) death won’t be set aside for any reason (not that Clarke will be having much opportunity to forget) – peace be damned.

Of course, that’s just the kind of attention you probably shouldn’t draw to yourself, in the event you didn’t just try to poison your host; so Raven gets to revisit Finn’s fate, first hand. The more things change….

‘Remember Me’ also features Bob Morley, Marie Avgeropoulos, Paige Turco, Henry Ian Cusick, Christopher Larkin, Devon Bostick, Jarod Joseph, Eve Harlow, Alycia Debnam Carey, and Ty Olsson. It airs Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 9:00pm EST, on The CW.
