2014-2017 Release Dates: FANTASTIC FOUR 2, TRANSCENDENCE, BOYHOOD

Theatrical Release Schedule for The Fantastic Four 2, Transcendence, Boyhood, and other films have been revealed. The announced release dates and the adjusted release schedules range from 2015 to 2017. All the release dates are subject to change by the their producers and/or their distributors.

The 2014-2017 Theatrical Release Schedule with descriptions:

Whitey: The United States Of America V. James J Bulger (Magnolia Pictures)

Magnolia Pictures acquired U.S. theatrical, VOD and home entertainment rights to Whitey: The United States Of America V. James J Bulger, the Joe Berlinger-directed docu on notorious Irish gangster Whitey Bulger…Magnolia will be giving the film a day and date theatrical and on demand release this June [2014], followed by a broadcast on CNN later this year.

Boyhood (IFC Films)

Boyhood will open in limited theaters starting July 11th this summer [2014].

Project Almanac (Paramount Pictures)

Project Almanac [formerly Welcome to Yesterday] will hit theaters in January 2015.

The Wolverine Sequel (20th Century Fox)

The Wolverine sequel is set to be released on for March 3, 2017.

The Fantastic Four 2 (20th Century Fox)

The Fantastic Four 2 is set to be released on for July 14, 2017.

Transcendence (Warner Bros.)

Transcendence will open on April 18[, 2014] in China, a coveted day-and-date release with the U.S. Warner Bros is distributing in the States. The Johnny Depp sci-fi action drama will be exclusively released in China in 3D and IMAX 3D, a growing trend that recently saw Robocop converted to the format solely for the massive market. Trenscendence will also have a 2D release locally.
