50th Review / 50th LAMB
Apr 5th, 2008 by filmbook
I thought I would celebrate one milestone with the milestone of a group I am affiliated with. Today I have written my fiftieth “official” film review. I have actually written and published fifty-one film reviews, the first one being The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) but I can not locate that review either on my hard drive or on the site where it was formerly published. I wanted my official fiftieth review to be about a note-worthy film, not some disposable film like 10,000 BC. That is why I waited so that my fiftieth film review could be about the little independent film that could, Juno.
Since I knew my fiftieth review was coming up, I also decide to wait to announce that Film-Book dot Com was made the 50th LAMB.
LAMB stands for the Large Association of Movie Blogs. Its members are called LAMBs. This association has put me in contact with some very cool cinema people, including Evan Derrick and the rest of the cinephiles over at Movie Zeal (LAMB #49). Here’s to fifty, a hundred, a thousand more file reviews and a hundred new and worth-while members to LAMB.

Congratulations man, this blog stuff sounds like it takes up a significant amount of time, but you got me looking a few times each day.
Thx man. It does take up time but time management is key and post dating articles in advance.
Cool. Glad to here it. Wait to read my article on Firefly, Serenity and River Tam.
