A SINGLE SHOT (2013) Teaser Trailer: Sam Rockwell’s Rifle Starts Drama

Sam Rockwell A Single Shot

A Single Shot Trailer. David M. Rosenthal‘s A Single Shot (2013) teaser trailer stars Sam Rockwell, William H. Macy, Ted Levine, Kelly Reilly, and Jason Isaacs. A Single Shot‘s plot synopsis: based on a novel by Matthew F. Jones, “After the loss of his family farm, John Moon (Rockwell) is a desperate man. A master hunter, his ability to poach game in-season or out is the only thing that stands between him and the soup kitchen line. Until Moon trespasses on the wrong land, hears a rustle in the brush, and fires a single fateful shot.”

This looks very good.

On the music in this teaser trailer:

The music in that piece, by the way, is a segment from ‘Fratres’ by the minimalist Estonian composer Arvo Pärt. The piece is among Pärt’s best-known, and can be found recorded from a few different performances…I believe this is the one performed by Tasmin Little and Martin Roscoe.

A Single Shot also stars Joe Anderson, Jeffrey Wright, Ophelia Lovibond, Melissa Leo, Amy Sloan, W. Earl Brown, Heather Lind, Christie Burke, Jenica Bergere, and Lana Giacose.
