The second movie trailer for The Accountant (2016) has been released for the Gavin O’Connor directed film. This movie trailer, unlike the first trailer, shows all of the threats that Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) faces as his former clients and the Treasury Department’s Crime Enforcement Division close in on him. I was surprised that a world-class assassin would risk exposing himself to kill his own accountant. I was also surprised that a teacher offered to work with Christian so that Christian could lead a normal life and Christian’s father refused.

The Accountant‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by “Christian Wolff (Affleck) [is] a math savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Behind the cover of a small-town CPA office, he works as a freelance accountant for some of the world’s most dangerous criminal organizations. With the Treasury Department’s Crime Enforcement Division, run by Ray King (J.K. Simmons), starting to close in, Christian takes on a legitimate client: a state-of-the-art robotics company where an accounting clerk (Anna Kendrick) has discovered a discrepancy involving millions of dollars. But as Christian uncooks the books and gets closer to the truth, it is the body count that starts to rise.”

The Accountant also stars Anna Kendrick, Jon Bernthal, Alison Wright, J.K. Simmons, John Lithgow, Jeffrey Tambor, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Daeg Faerch, Gregory Alan Williams, Alex Collins, Inder Kumar, Ron Yuan, Gary Basaraba, and Michael Beasley.
