Hayley Atwell Reveals Agent Carter Will Have 10 Episodes for Season 2. It’s been only a few weeks since the announcement was made that Agent Carter would return for a second season. Hayley Atwell dropped some hints about what to expect and also revealed a slightly bigger season.

During a Q&A at Comicpalooza in Houston, Hayley Atwell revealed that the new season of Agent Carter will have a run of 10 episodes, two more than the first season. It’s good news for fans of the series, as the new season will take Peggy Carter out of New York and into the city of Los Angeles with some new missions. Agent Carter will return during Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s midseason hiatus like last time, but we don’t know how these extra two episodes will affect the length of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s third season.

Hayley Atwell recently made an appearance on Avengers: Age of Ultron and will make her next appearance in the upcoming movie Ant-Man. Agent Carter’s second season will air sometime early next year.
