Peggy Carter to Appear in Marvel’s Ant-Man. A rumor appeared on Latino Review in August that Peggy Carter would be making an appearance in 2015’s Ant-Man with some other characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universal. Now a casting call made its way to the web confirming her appearance.

Casting directors are looking for an actor to work as a stand-in for the actor Haley Atwell. Haley Attwell is 31, 5’7 and 112 pounds. She is best known for her work in stage productions such as A View from the Bridge, and in films such as Cassandra’s Dream, The Duchess, The Pillars of the Earth, and Captain America: The First Avenger. In addition, casting directors are looking for a body double that meets certain requirements.

The original rumor was that Michael Douglas‘ Hank Pym would appear in a flashback where a younger Pym is meeting with S.H.I.E.L.D. founding members Howard Stark, Peggy Carter, Armin Zola, and a young Alexander Pierce, who was portrayed by Robert Redford in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The rumored scene led to Edgar Wright leaving his directing duties on Ant-Man back in May.

This would make to bring Peggy Carter into the fold in order to bridge the gap between the first Captain America film and the present day. Ant-Man releases on July 17, 2015.
