ARROW: Carly Pope Cast as Coast City Reporter Susan Williams [The CW]

Carly Pope

Carly Pope to Appear on Fifth Season of Arrow as Susan Williams. Star City is about to get a visit from a resident of Coast City when reporter Susan Williams comes to town next season. Carly Pope has been cast as the eponymous reporter, who in the comics has ties to Hal Jordan.

TV Insider reports that Carly Pope will be playing Coast City reporter Susan Williams. In the comics, she was the wife of Hal’s brother, Jim – who comes to Star City to make a name for herself by going after Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) for her big career-defining story. This is the first time that a character from Coast City will be making an appearance since the show has hinted the existence of the place where Hal Jordan is from. Perhaps we may soon see his alter ego Green Lantern in the near future? Williams will be making her debut during the third episode of Arrow’s upcoming fifth season.
