ARROW: Joe Dinicol Cast as DC Comics Superhero Ragman [The CW]

Joe Dinicol Ragman

Joe Dinicol To Play DC character Ragman in Fifth Season of Arrow. It looks like Arrow isn’t quite done exploring the supernatural after it’s last two seasons. That is because DC Comics vigilante Ragman will be appearing in Arrow’s fifth season being portrayed by actor Joe Dinicol.

According to EW, Joe Dinicol, known for his stint on Blindspot, will be joining the cast of Arrow as Rory Ragan, better known to comic fans as Ragman. When we meet Rory this season, he comes off from a personal loss where he hopes to find answers in Star City. Basically, Rory will soon be crossing paths with former-billionaire-playboy-turned-local-vigilante Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell).

In the comics, Ragman has been known to wear a mystical suit that allows him to take the souls of the guilty and help redeem them. When he absorbs these souls, it grants him the strength and power of any soul he takes. We aren’t sure what this would mean for the show if Ragman shows off, possibly teasing that magic will find it’s way back into the show.

Dinicol is one of many more cast members being added this season on Arrow. Other new additions include Rick Gonzalez as Rene Ramirez/Wild Dog, Josh Segarra as Adrian Chase/Vigilante, Chad Coleman as crime boss Tobias Church, Tyler Ritter as Detective Malone, and Carly Pope as Coast City reporter Susan Williams.
