ARROW: Season Five to See Curtis Holt’s Evolution on Team Arrow [The CW]

Echo Vellum Curtis Stone Arrow Season Four

Curtis Holt’s Team Arrow Role May Evolve in Arrow’s Fifth Season. We may be getting a whole lot of action coming from Echo Kellum’s Curtis Holt when Arrow returns this fall. After his introduction, it appears that Curtis Holt will start living up to the name Mr. Terrific on Team Arrow.

In an interview with TVLine, EP Wendy Mericle spoke about the show’s long-term plan for Curtis Holt. “Essentially, if [Felicity] is software, he’s hardware,” Mericle said. “As he evolves into becoming Mr. Terrific in Season 5, one of the things we’re really exploring is differentiating them by having Curtis be more like Cisco (Carlos Valdez) on The Flash. We want him to be a bit more hands-on, a little more about building physical tech.”

For those of you who have read the comics, Mr. Terrific’s alter ego was Michael Holt, who was smart and had Olympic-level skills. He was also a member of the Justice Society of America, however the show is going in another direction for the character’s origin story. Just like Cisco, we might not see Curtis in his costume immediately so he might end up developing his craft before donning the suit.
