ARROW: Show to Bring Back Colton Haynes as Roy Harper [The CW]

Colton Haynes Roy Harper Arrow

Colton Haynes to Reprise Role of Roy Harper on Arrow. After leaving last season, it was possible for Colton Haynes to return to Arrow at some point and now it looks like that opportunity has finally opened. Fans should be happy to know that Roy Harper will return this season.

Entertainment Weekly confirmed that Colton Haynes will return to Arrow later this season for one episode as Roy Harper/Arsenal. This will be the character’s first appearance since he took the blame for Oliver Queen and exposed himself as the Arrow. He then faked his death and left town, making one final appearance where Thea paid him a visit.

It’s still unknown on the details of his return, but it’s probably due to what Thea is going through now after her comeback from the Lazarus Pit. EP Marc Guggenheim said that Roy will return during the 12th episode ‘Unchained’ in Arrow’s fourth season. Production started this weekend and will go until Thanksgiving. You can expect to see the episode after the winter break.

Even Haynes himself broke the news on his Twitter page saying, “Just landed in Vancouver to…BEGIN FILMING ON #ARROW AGAIN!!! So excited!!!”
