AVARICE (2011) Movie Trailer: Matthew Schilling, Brad Dourif, Kevin Sorbo

The Avarice Movie Trailer has premiered. Matthew Schilling‘s Avarice (2011) stars Brad Dourif, Kevin Sorbo, Ray Park, Jason London, and Natassia Malthe. Avarice‘s plot synopsis: “A mysterious box from space lands in the desert; it holds the power to grant anyone’s desires, but at a deadly cost. When a group of strangers are brought together by their most desperate desires, they will unwittingly release the evil darkness lurking inside.”

Avarice looks like a mixture of more than a few action films in one. A western, Justified, The Box, etc. I haven’t seen Natassia Malthe in a film in some time. If you are ignorant of who Natassia Malthe is, look at this post: Uwe Boll Petition. It looks like she is only in a flashback in the film.

Avarice also stars Patricia Richardson, Tinsel Korey, Laura Spencer, Kelcie Stranahan, Shelby Janes, Will Rolland, and Rudy Alvarado. I wish there were more space sequences in this movie trailer. What is your guess on what is in that box? Why do you think the lawman, James (Kevin Sorbo), has those burns all over his face?
