Avatar (2009) Featurette: Human Hardware has been released by IGN UK. The Avatar (2009) Featurette: Human Hardware illuminates certain aspects of James Cameron’s Avatar (2009) and is narrarted by him and other cast members. Featurette highlights: The air is toxic on the alien planet of Pandora. Without the air masks people are unconscious in 20 seconds, dead in four minutes. There are flux vortexes and high magnetic fields on Pandora, so only mid-20th century technology works on the planet. The crew that the viewer follows to the planet has been in Cyro sleep for nine months and twenty-two days. The human station on Pandora is “essentially a mining camp in a hostile environment.” Love the A.M.P. Suits (see a full model here), which are 16 foot tall fighting suits that function like humans. Check out the Avatar (2009) Featurette: Human Hardware below and leave you thoughts on it and the box office potential of Avatar (2009) in theaters.
