AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR (2018): Peter Dinklage Being Considered For Role

Peter Dinklage In Running For Part In Avengers: Infinity War

Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage is in the middle of talks to appear in Marvel‘s upcoming Avengers: Infinity War.

While Dinklage is mainly known for his role as Tyrion Lannister in the aforementioned Game of Thrones, he is hardly a stranger to the world of Marvel Comics’ adaptations. He portrayed scientist Bolivar Trask in 20th Century Fox‘s X-Men: Days of Future Past, an experience that appears to have prepared the actor for an even bigger step into the world of superhero films. It isn’t known what character he will play in Infinity War, but it is known that he will also appear in the planned follow-up as well.

Returning to directorial duties for the Marvel Cinematic Universe are Anthony and Joe Russo, the minds behind Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War. The two brothers plan to shoot the next two Avengers films back-to-back, with the first installment set for release on May 4th, 2018 and the currently-untitled sequel slated to hit theaters on May 3rd, 2019.

Per Superherohype:

It remains to be seen which characters will be the primary focus of the films, though we do know that Captain Marvel will appear in the movies ahead of her solo movie in 2019 and that the film will feature the combined forces of The Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy.
