AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR: Next Installment To Be a Standalone Film

Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War To Become a Standalone Film. With Disney updating their release schedule, we can expect some changes taking place, including the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. Now it appears that the film will now be a standalone feature.

The Wrap recently reported that Avengers: Infinity War will now become one movie after confirming some changes for Disney’s release schedule. Avengers: Infinity War is now the official title for the next installment, with Part II becoming ‘Untitled Avengers’. However, both titles will still be released in 2018 and 2019 as scheduled.

Just because Avengers: Infinity War has become one film doesn’t mean the battle against Thanos won’t still take place over both films. Let’s not forget that the Russo Brothers stated that both films would be standalone features rather than being a two-part story like how The Hunger Games or Harry Potter franchises ended.

We should expect more details coming soon, but we at least know that the next installment will be called Avengers: Infinity War. What do you guys think of having Avengers: Infinity War as a standalone film?

Avengers: Infinity War is slated for release on May 4, 2018 while the untitled Avengers sequel comes out on May 3, 2019.
