BASKIN (2015) Movie Trailer & Poster: Four Cops Go to Hell…

Baskin Trailer & Poster

Baskin Movie Trailer. Can Evrenol‘s Baskin (2015) movie trailer stars Muharrem BayrakFadik Bülbül, and Gorkem KasalBaskin‘s plot synopsis: “A group of Turkish police called in to a desolate area stumble upon a squalid and blood-soaked den of satanic ritual… Baskin is a visceral trip into the darkest pits of a very palpable evil.”

This is an effective, compact trailer for a seemingly promising horror film. The premise is simple: a group of Turkish cops gets called to investigate a disturbance, but they’re in for more than it seems. Suddenly, they find themselves in the middle of a satanic ritual, which incorporates fairly non-human entities, if I’m seeing correctly.

According to Deadline, “XYZ Films executive produced and will handled North American sales, while The Salt Company is handling international. Baskin makes its world premiere this year at TIFF on September 11, with Evrenol in attendance”

The tagline for this poster is absolutely perfect (so perfect I had to snag it for my headline). It speaks volumes about the attitude and love of horror from these guys. Take a look:

Regarding the film itself, IMDb tells us that it was completed and screened in 2013, but as things go, it’s not unusual to have a film’s major distribution or prolonged exhibition halted or delayed due to various unforeseen business negotiations or complications. Whatever happened there – the only thing that matters is that this looks pretty solid!
