Batman: The Killing Joke Trailer and Featurette. Sam Liu‘s Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) teaser trailer, movie featurette stars Mark Hamill, Tara Strong, Ray Wise, and Kevin Conroy. Batman: The Killing Joke‘s plot synopsis: based on the graphic novel by Alan Moore and Brian Bolland,  “As Batman hunts for the escaped Joker, the Clown Prince of Crime attacks the Gordon family to prove a diabolical point mirroring his own fall into madness.”

Batman: The Killing Joke is a film that I never thought would get made because of its content but times have changed and great storytelling can’t be denied. Because of the storyline, The Killing joke attracted back the the voice talents of Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill to characters they voiced in Batman: The Animated Series.

The teaser features brief footage but featurette includes a wide birth of footage from the film. The viewer is shown footage across the entire film, including the pivotal third act. The viewer is also given information on the production of the film by the people that made it, including the director and Bruce Timm, the film’s executive producer.
