Amy Adams Talks Lois Lane’s Key Role in Batman v Superman. Lois Lane had an important part to play in Man of Steel being a key role in Clark Kent’s journey in becoming Superman. Lois will still be important according to portrayer Amy Adams in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Speaking with Collider, Amy Adams spoke about her role in 2016’s ever-expanding superhero flick Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. On playing Lois Lane, Adams told the outlet how her version of Lane stands out. “Lois is still sort of like the key to the information, you know?” said Adams. “She’s the girl going out and getting it and figuring it out and putting it together and all of that, so she’s very much involved, but I kind of leave the heavy lifting to the boys, you know? So to speak.”

So does Lois get any scenes with the other superheroes in the film? She didn’t say if she shared any scenes with them, but Adams did reveal about how well co-stars like Jason Momoa who plays Aquaman interact on set. “They’re awesome together,” Adams said of her superhero co-stars. “It’s kind of like this big fest of muscles … it was really kind of nice. And then you add Jason Momoa and Gal Gadot and I felt very short and, yeah.”

Adams also spoke about working with Gal Gadot, who plays Wonder Woman in the film. “It’s exciting to get to bring in all these other characters and I was really excited that Gal (Gadot) was involved, because it was a nice to have another girl on set, even if we don’t work together a lot, it was nice to have her there,” she said.

However, just don’t expect to see a love triangle to happen between Superman, Lois, and Wonder Woman. “They always think that if you put in another woman and automatically… ‘Catfight!’ No, I think that’s a male fantasy thing. I don’t think that’s reality.” She also adds, “I don’t know how it will turn out, if we’re going to be competition, but we are not in this, I can safely say, and we’re not in real life. She’s just the coolest girl ever.”
