Beirut Trailer

Brad Anderson‘s Beirut (2018) movie trailer stars Jon Hamm, Rosamund Pike, Shea Whigham, Douglas Hodge, and Dean Norris. Beirut‘s plot synopsis: “A U.S. diplomat (Hamm) flees Lebanon in 1972 after a tragic incident at his home. Ten years later, he is called back to war-torn Beirut by CIA operatives (Pike) to negotiate for the life of a friend he left behind.”

I read about this film as it will be playing at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, which FilmBook will be attending for its fourth time in a row, and it looks solid. I bemoaned Jon Hamm not playing Negan on The Walking Dead but it seems that he may have made the right choose with focusing on films like Beirut.

Beirut also stars Mark Pellegrino, Kate Fleetwood, Jonny Coyne, Leïla Bekhti, Alon Aboutboul, Larry Pine, Sonia Okacha, Ben Affan, Ian Porter, and Mohamed Attougui.
