Black Sails Season 2 Promo and Season 3 Renewal. Starz‘s Black Sails: Season 2 TV show trailer has been released and the pirate drama has been renewed for a third season. From the trailer, its looks as though the season 2 will pick up right where season 1 ended. Season 2 will consist of ten episodes, two episodes more than season 1. Threatened with extinction on all sides, they fight for the survival of New Providence Island, the most notorious criminal haven of its day – a debauched paradise teeming with pirates, prostitutes, thieves and fortune seekers, a place defined by both its enlightened ideals and its stunning brutality.”

Black Sails: Season 2 stars Toby Stephens, Hannah New, Luke Arnold, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Louise Barnes, Zach McGowan, Sean Cameron Michael, Tadhg Murphy, Rupert Penry-Jones, and Lars Arentz-Hansen.
