BLADE RUNNER 2049 (2017): Harrison Ford Returns in First Trailer

Harrison Ford Blade Runner 2049 Teaser Trailer

First Official Teaser Trailer for Blade Runner 2049 Gets Released

The future still doesn’t look too bright in the first trailer for next year’s anticipated film Blade Runner 2049. Director Denis Villeneuve’s sequel to Ridley Scott‘s cult film Blade Runner has Harrison Ford returning as his character Rick Deckard as he teams up with Ryan Gosling’s Officer K.

In the teaser trailer, we hear a voice-over from Ford’s Deckard as he summaries his duties as a bounty hunter. We also see Gosling’s K as he goes to search for Deckard, only to have a gun pointed at him by the aging replicant hunter. The buildings, environment, and the music are reminiscent of the ‘80s classic film. It will be curious to see if the sequel lives up to the original’s reputation. The only question is if it will be good enough for fans of the original or if this film was better left alone.

We also have a synopsis for the upcoming film, which you can see here:

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
