Box Office

Box Office: Aug. 20-22, 2010

People love action. The Expendables was Number One at the box office for the second weekend in row with $16.5 Million for $64.8 Million so far. After hearing Sylvester Stallone on the radio show talking about how happy he was that The Expendables was number one last weekend, he must be ecstatic now. Many people passed on funding The Expendables, many passed on starring in the film. They must all be kicking themselves now. Vampires Suck was Second with $12.2 million. Eat Prey Love was Third with $12 Million. Lottery Ticket (which premiered this weekend) was Fourth with $11.1 Million. The Other Guys was Fifth with $10.1 Million. Piranha 3D (which premiered this weekend), Nanny McPhee Returns (which premiered this weekend), The Switch (which premiered this weekend), Inception, and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World rounded out the top ten respectively.
