Box Office August 10-12, 2012. The Bourne Legacy premiered in the Number spot at the box office over the weekend with $40.2 Million. The Campaign premiered in Second Place with $27.4 Million. The Dark Knight Rises was Third with $19.5 Million for $390.1 Million so far. Hope Springs premiered in Fourth Place with $15.6 Million. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days was Fifth with $8.2 Million. Total Recall, Ice Age: Continental Drift, Ted, Step Up Revolution, and The Amazing Spider-man rounded out the top ten respectively.

The Bourne Legacy is a 2012 American action thriller film and the fourth installment in the Bourne film series, which is based on Robert Ludlum’s Jason Bourne novels. It is directed by Tony Gilroy, screenwriter of the first three films.

The Campaign (formerly known as Dog Fight and Rivals) is a 2012 comedy film starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis as two Southerners vying for a seat in Congress to represent their small district. The screenplay for the film was written by Eastbound & Down writer Shawn Harwell and Chris Henchy, and is directed by Jay Roach.

Hope Springs is a 2012 American romantic comedy-drama film directed by David Frankel, and starring Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones and Steve Carell.
