Box Office August 15-17, 2014. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was Number One at the box office for the second weekend in a row with $28.4 Million for $117.6 Million so far.  Guardians of the Galaxy was Second for the second week in a row with $24.7 Million for $222.2 Million so far. Let’s Be Cops premiered in Third Place with $17.7 Million. The Expendables 3 premiered in Fourth Place with $16.2 Million. The Giver premiered Fifth Place with $12.7 Million. Into The Storm, The Hundred-Foot Journey, Lucy, Step Up All In, and Boyhood rounded out the top ten respectively.

The Expendables 3 (also marketed as The Expendables III) is a 2014 American ensemble action film directed by Patrick Hughes, and written by Creighton Rothenberger, Katrin Benedikt, and Sylvester Stallone. The Giver is a 2014 American social science fiction film directed by Phillip Noyce, based on the 1993 novel of same name by Lois Lowry. The film stars Jeff Bridges, Meryl Streep, Brenton Thwaites, Alexander Skarsgård, Odeya Rush, Katie Holmes, Taylor Swift, Cameron Monaghan and Emma Tremblay.
