Fifty Shades Freed premiered in the Number One spot at the box office over the weekend with $38.8 Million. The latest installment in the Fifty Shades of Grey film series helped push the film franchise past the $1 Billion world-wide.

Peter Rabbit premiered in Second Place with $25 Million. The 15:17 to Paris premiered in Third Place with $12.6 Million. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was Fourth with $9.8 Million for $365.6 Million so far. World-wide, Jumanji 2 has made $881.7 Million. The Greatest Showman was Fifth with $6.4 Million for $146.5 Million so far.

Maze Runner: The Death Cure, Winchester, The Post, The Shape of Water, Den of Thieves rounded out the top ten respectively.

Fifty Shades Freed is the third and final installment of the erotic romance Fifty Shades Trilogy by British author E. L. James. After accepting entrepreneur CEO Christian Grey’s proposal in Fifty Shades Darker, Anastasia Steele must adjust not only to married life but to her new husband’s wealthy lifestyle and controlling nature.

Peter Rabbit is a 2018 3D live-action/CGI animated adventure comedy film directed by Will Gluck from a screenplay by Gluck and Rob Lieber, based on the stories of the character of the same name created by Beatrix Potter. The film features voice roles played by James Corden, Daisy Ridley, Margot Robbie, and Elizabeth Debicki, and live action roles played by Domhnall Gleeson, Rose Byrne, and Sam Neill.

The 15:17 to Paris is a 2018 American biographical drama film produced and directed by Clint Eastwood and written by Dorothy Blyskal, based on the autobiography The 15:17 to Paris: The True Story of a Terrorist, a Train, and Three American Soldiers by Jeffrey E. Stern, Spencer Stone, Anthony Sadler and Alek Skarlatos. The film stars Stone, Sadler and Skarlatos as themselves and follows the trio as they stop the 2015 Thalys train attack; Judy Greer and Jenna Fischer also star.
