Box Office Jan. 22-24, 2016. The Revenant was Number One at the box office over the weekend with $16 Million for $119.1 Million so far. Star Wars: The Force Awakens was Second with $14.2 Million for $879.2 Million so far. World-wide, Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens has brought in over $1.93 Billion. Ride Along 2 was Third with $12.9 Million. Dirty Grandpa premiered in Fourth Place with $11.5 Million. The Boy premiered in Fifth Place with $11.2 Million. The 5th Wave (which premiered this weekend), 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, Daddy’s Home, Norm of the North, and The Big Short rounded out the top ten respectively.

Dirty Grandpa is a 2016 American comedy film directed by Dan Mazer and written by John Philips. The film stars Robert De Niro, Zac Efron, Zoey Deutch, and Aubrey Plaza.

The Boy (previously known as The Inhabitant) is a 2016 American horror film directed by William Brent Bell and written by Stacey Menear. The film stars Lauren Cohan and Rupert Evans.

The 5th Wave is a 2016 American science fiction thriller film, directed by J Blakeson, with a screenplay by Susannah Grant, Akiva Goldsman, and Jeff Pinkner, based on Rick Yancey’s eponymous novel. The film stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Nick Robinson, Ron Livingston, Maggie Siff, Alex Roe, Maria Bello, Maika Monroe, and Liev Schreiber.
