Box Office: January 3-5, 2014: FROZEN, PA: THE MARKED ONES, THE HOBBIT

Box Office January 3-5, 2014. Frozen was Number One at the box office over the weekend with $20.7 Million for $297.8 Million so far.  Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones was premiered in Second Place with $18.2 million. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug was Third with $16.2 Million for $229.6 Million so far. The Wolf of Wall Street was Fourth with $16.4 Million. American Hustle was Fifth with $13.2 Million. Anchorman 2: The Legend ContinuesSaving Mr. Banks, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and Grudge Match rounded out the top ten respectively.

Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones is a 2014 American supernatural horror film written and directed by Christopher B. Landon…It is a spinoff of the Paranormal Activity horror movie franchise. It is also Landon’s second directorial effort, after Burning Palms, and the first to be shot in found footage style.
