Box Office: January 9-11, 2015: TAKEN 3, SELMA, INTO THE WOODS

Box Office January 9-11, 2015. Taken 3 premiered in the Number One spot at the box office over the weekend with $40.4 Million. Selma was Second with $11.2 Million. Into the Woods was Third with $9.7 Million for $105.2 Million so far. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies was Fourth with $9.4 Million for $236.5 Million so far. Unbroken was Fifth with $8.3 Million. The Imitation Game, Night at the Museum: Secret of the TombAnnie, The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death, and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 rounded out the top ten respectively.

Taken 3 (stylized as TAK3N) is a 2015 action thriller film directed by Olivier Megaton and written by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. It is the third and final installment in the Taken trilogy, and the sequel to the 2008 film Taken and the 2012 film Taken 2. The film stars Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen and Forest Whitaker.
