Box Office June 28-30, 2013. Monsters University was Number One at the box office for the second weekend in row for $46.1 Million for $171 Million so far. The Heat premiered in Second Place with $40 Million. World War Z was Third with $29.8 Million for $123.7 Million so far. White House Down premiered in Fourth Place with $25.7 Million. Man of Steel was Fifth with $20.8 Million for $248.6 Million so far. This is the End, Now You See Me, Fast & Furious 6, Star Trek Into Darkness, and The Internship rounded out the top ten respectively.

The Heat is a 2013 American action-comedy film written by Katie Dippold and directed by Paul Feig. The plot centers on FBI Special Agent Sarah Ashburn and Boston Detective Shannon Mullins, played respectively by Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, who must take down a Russian mobster.

White House Down is a 2013 American action-thriller film directed by Roland Emmerich about an assault on the White House by a paramilitary group. The film’s screenplay is by James Vanderbilt and stars Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx.
