Box Office Mar. 25-27, 2016. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice premiered in Number One spot at the box office over the weekend with $170.1 Million. Zootopia was Second with $23.1 Million for $240.5 Million so far. My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 premiered in Third Place with $18.1 Million. Miracles from Heaven was Fourth with $9.5 Million. The Divergent Series: Allegiant was Fifth with $9.5 Million. 10 Cloverfield Lane, Deadpool, London Has Fallen, Hello, My Name is Doris, and Eye in the Sky rounded out the top ten respectively.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is a 2016 American superhero film featuring the DC Comics characters Batman and Superman, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is a follow-up to 2013’s Man of Steel and the second installment in the DC Extended Universe. The film is directed by Zack Snyder, with a screenplay written by Chris Terrio and David S. In the film, criminal mastermind Lex Luthor, obsessed with defeating Superman, manipulates Batman into preemptively battling him.
