Box Office March 23-25, 2012. The Hunger Games premiered in the Number One spot at the box office over the weekend with $155 Million. A very impressive take. 21 Jump Street was Second $21.3 Million. Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax was Third with $13.1 Million for $177.3 Million so far. John Carter was Fourth with $5 Million. Act of Valor was Fifth with $2 Million. Project X, A Thousand Words, October Baby (which premiered this weekend), Safe House, and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island rounded out the top ten respectively.

The Hunger Games is a 2012 American dystopian, science fiction, action-drama film directed by Gary Ross and based on the novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins. It stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, and Elizabeth Banks.

October Baby is a 2011 American drama film directed by Andrew and Jon Erwin and starring Rachel Hendrix in her film debut. It is the story of a young woman named Hannah, who learns that she is an abortion survivor. She then embarks upon a road trip to understand the circumstances of her birth.
