Worldwide, The Avengers has made $1.180 Billion so far. Battleship premiered in Second Place with $25. 3 Million. The Dictator premiered in Third Place with $17.4 Million. Dark Shadows was Fourth with $12.7 Million. What to Expect When You’re Expecting was Fifth with $10.5 Million. The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, The Hunger Games, Think Like a Man, The Lucky One, and The Pirates! Band of Misfits rounded out the top ten respectively.

Battleship is a 2012 American science fiction action naval war film named after the classic pen and paper game of the same name. The film was directed by Peter Berg and released by Universal Pictures. The film stars Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgård, Rihanna, Brooklyn Decker, and Tadanobu Asano.

The Dictator is a 2012 comedy film co-written by and starring Sacha Baron Cohen. His fourth feature film in a leading role “tell[s] the story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed”, according to distributor Paramount Pictures. The film is directed by Larry Charles, who previously directed Baron Cohen’s mockumentaries Borat and Brüno. Cohen, in the role of Admiral General Aladeen, a dictator from the fictional North African country of the Republic of Wadiya, stars alongside Ben Kingsley and Anna Faris.

What to Expect When You’re Expecting is a 2012 American romantic comedy film directed by Kirk Jones from a screenplay by Shauna Cross and Heather Hach and based on the book of the same name. It stars an ensemble cast of Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Elizabeth Banks, Chace Crawford, Brooklyn Decker, Ben Falcone, Rob Huebel, Anna Kendrick, Thomas Lennon, Joe Manganiello, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Matthew Morrison, Dennis Quaid, Chris Rock, Rodrigo Santoro, Amir Talai, and Rebel Wilson. The film also features many celebrity cameos including Girls Aloud member Cheryl Cole, the Black Eyed Peas member Taboo, and former The Hills star Whitney Port.
