Box Office: May 20-22, 2011: THE HANGOVER PART 2

Many were hungover this weekend. The Hangover Part 2 premiered in the Number One spot at the box office this weekend with $86.4 Million. Kung Fu Panda 2 premiered in Second Place with $48 Million. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides was Third with $39.3 Million for $152.9 Million so far. Bridesmaids was Fourth with $16.3 Million. Thor was Fifth with $9.3 Million for $159.7 Million so far. Fast Five, Midnight in Paris, Jumping the Broom, Something Borrowed, and Rio rounded out the top ten respectively.

The Hangover Part II is a 2011 American comedy film and sequel to 2009’s The Hangover. The film stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis. Justin Bartha and Ken Jeong also reprise their roles. Todd Phillips directed a script written by him, Craig Mazinand Scot Armstrong. The film was produced by Legendary Pictures and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Kung Fu Panda 2 is a 2011 3D computer-animated action comedy film and the sequel to the 2008 film Kung Fu Panda. The cast of the original film reprised their voice roles, [which includes Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Gary Oldman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, David Cross, James Hong, Michelle Yeoh, Danny McBride, Dennis Haysbert, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Victor Garber.]
