Box Office September 19-21, 2014. The Maze Runner premiered in the Number One spot at the box office over the weekend with $32.5 Million. A Walk Among the Tombstones premiered in Second Place with $12.7 Million. This is Where I Leave You was premiered in Third Place with $11.5 Million. No Good Deed was Fourth with $9.7 Million. Dolphin Tale 2 was Fifth with $4.3 Million. Guardians of the Galaxy, Let’s Be Cops, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Drop, and If I Stay rounded out the top ten respectively.

The Maze Runner is the first book in a young-adult post-apocalyptic science fiction trilogy of the same name by James Dashner. The novel was published in October 2007 by Delacorte Press, an imprint of Random House, and was made into a 2014 major motion picture by 20th Century Fox. The novel spawned two sequels: The Scorch Trials (2010) and The Death Cure (2011).

A Walk Among the Tombstones is a 2014 American crime thriller film based on a novel by Lawrence Block of the same name, directed and written by Scott Frank. It stars Liam Neeson, Dan Stevens, Boyd Holbrook, and Sebastian Roché.

This Is Where I Leave You is a 2014 American comedy-drama film directed by Shawn Levy. It is based on the book of the same name by Jonathan Tropper, who also wrote the film’s screenplay.
