CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR (2016): Leaked Set Photos Reveal Black Panther Costume

Captain America: Civil War BTS movie images provide first looks at Black Panther in character & costume. Oh, the age we live in, where something as innocuous as a photographer, sharing set pics within his circle, turns into something of a spoiler.

Andreas Myers’ pics, from the Civil War set, give us our first looks at Chadwick Boseman in costume & in action, alongside what looked to be stunt doubles for Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes/ The Winter Soldier, and Chris Evans’ Captain America. Early indications are that Boseman – at least for this shoot – did his own stunts.

No firemen were required, getting the Big Cat down, so a good day’s shoot.

Considering the original concept art, for the costumed character, there seems to be a bit too much light catching detail, to the realized outfit, for my liking; but there is room to make it work (even if only in post-production, or in on-screen action).

Captain America: Civil War lands May 6, 2016, with Black Panther set for a July 6, 2018 release.
