The Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) Movie Poster from the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con International has premiered. The poster, production concept art by Ryan Meinerding, is good and depicts a period piece Captain America instead of a modernized version of the superhero. Why they had to tie in The Avengers with the title of Captain America, besides the upcoming Avengers movie, is beyond me. Captain America: The First Avenger will be directed by Joe Johnston and stars Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, Sebastian Stan, and Hayley Atwell. I hope the film is a gritty and cool as this poster.
