Frank Grillo casting in Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) answers the question of who will play Crossbones (Brock Rumlow) in the  Anthony Russo and Joe Russo directed film. “Normally a henchman of Red Skull, Crossbones (aka Brock Rumlow) led the Savage Crims gang in New York’s lower East Side before joining a school for criminals. Later he worked under Red Skull and was believed to be behind Cap’s assassination in the comics.”
