The first set movie photographs of Brie Larson in costume and flight suit from Captain Marvel (2019) have been released. The Captain Marvel costume images were a bit of a shock because of the color palette employed in the costume. No one expected a direct translation of the comic book costume but the muted green for costume was a choice most didn’t see coming. Since Captain Marvel is a period piece film, I am guessing that costume with change through the film or from this film to the next. Captain America’s costume has gone through mutlipe changes.

The Captain Marvel U.S. Air Force flight suit image is the best of the bunch in my opinion as it grounds the upcoming superhero film in a recognizable reality.

Captain Marvel‘s plot synopsis: “The film will be a “period piece” for Marvel Studios and take place in the early 1990s with the Skrulls as the primary villains.”

Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck‘s Captain Marvel also stars Samuel L. Jackson,  DeWanda Wise, Ben Mendelsohn, and Jude Law.
