Cloak and Dagger to Finish Filming First Season in July

One of Marvel’s most anticipated shows coming out in the upcoming season is Cloak and Dagger for Freeform. The romantic superhero series has Aubrey Joseph and Olivia Holt as the iconic duo. The pilot has already been shot and it looks like the rest of the season will be done as well.

Production Weekly reported that filming for Cloak and Dagger will start shooting the second episode next month in New Orleans. We don’t know much of the first season, but we do know that the first season of the series will contain 10 episodes. The story follows Tyrone Johnson and Tandy Bowen, two teenagers who fall in love but soon develop powers. The two learn that they are better together than apart. However, their love for each other makes things more complicated for them in this complex world. With production about to start next month, hopefully we can get some set photos or some more scoop on this brand new series coming out.

Beyond the Lights’ Gina Prince-Bythewood will be directing the pilot, which was already shots months ago before the network’s presentation two months ago. This piece of new information should keep us excited before the show gets a release date next year. Until then, leave us your thoughts on the upcoming Cloak and Dagger and if you’re excited to see another corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe come out soon.
