Justin has been asking us for a few years to roast him, and we just kept telling him to go create more source material first. We’re thrilled he listened.

Here is a brief synopsis on Comedy Central’s Celebrity Roasts:

This annual laugh fest from Comedy Central picks a particular celebrity each year as it’s target. A panel is selected from the celebrity’s peers and current, popular comedians to comically point out the foibles of the personal and professional lives of the celebrity in question. Previously roasted celebrities include William Shatner, Flavor Flav, Pamela Anderson, David Hasselhoff and Denis Leary

Bieber’s fan base is comprised of an army of teen-aged girls that are famous for their militant reprisals toward anything seen as a slight against their cherubic idol. Bieber fans are known to go so far as to utter death threats against celebrities for having the nerve to admit that they have “Bieber fever” (Kim Kardashian) or daring to win an award in a category that Bieber was also nominated for (Esperanza Spalding).

Right now Bieber seems to be playing the role of a good sport, going so far as to tweet,

For years I have wanted Comedy Central to roast me. They said only if I provided them w/ more material so for a year now I have worked hard

As well as,

Finally after all that hard work for my 21st bday it’s happening. Thanks @RyanSeacrest & @ComedyCentral for the announcement. Let’s do it 🙂

Comedy Central’s roasts are known for their scathing, politically incorrect, racist and sexist criticisms that are often too lewd to be aired uncensored. Justin’s juvenile fan base is notorious for their lack of sense of humor when it comes to all things Bieber-related. See where this is going? Comedy Central’s Roast of Justin Bieber is akin to an irresistible force colliding with an immovable object. As soon as the air date is announced I shall be an immovable object, firmly planted in front of my television, foaming at the mouth in rabid anticipation of how 2015’s sardonic panel of roasters will troll every last one of Bieber’s delirious fanatics.
