NBC’s Constantine Danse Vaudou Images. Constantine is looking ahead as NBC has released new photos from the fifth episode of the DC Comics adaptation, which airs on November 21. The new photos also reveals a first look at Jim Corrigan, who is also known as the first Spectre.
In next week’s episode of Constantine, actor Emmet Scanlan makes his American television debut as detective Jim Corrigan. It’s not clear if Corrigan will become alter ego Spectre in the series, but Scanlan has already signed for more appearances so it’s a possibility for the Spectre to show up in the near future. The episode also marks the return of Constantine’s adversary Papa Midnite, played by Michael James Shaw. So check out the images below and let us know what you think.

According to the Hellblazer comics, Jim Corrigan was a police officer who was murdered by criminals. When his soul refuses to go into the afterlife, he returns as a powerful entity that fights justice known as the Spectre. He helps Constantine on a number of occasions throughout the series.
Here’s a synopsis for the fifth episode entitled “Dansse Vaudou”:
In New Orleans, Constantine’s unusual knowledge of a string of crimes gets him into trouble with Detective Jim Corrigan. He must form an unholy alliance with Papa Midnite when a voodoo ritual to help people communicate with their dead loved ones takes a deadly turn.
