The second movie trailer for A Cure for Wellness (2017), a new thriller film, with horror film overtones, by Gore Verbinski. This trailer gives the viewer the full scope of the film. It also features the antagonist of the film, a doctor played by (Jason Isaacs), front and center. This is Isaacs first time on-screen in this film’s promos and he certainly makes his presence felt. Like when Jonathan Harker visited Dracula in Transylvania, when Dane DeHaan‘s character visits the doctor’s facility, DeHann’s character quickly becomes ensnared in a gigantic bear trap.

With regard to the “trap,” it is one of the most beautiful horror battlefields that I have seen in recent years.

A Cure for Wellness‘ plot synopsis: “An ambitious young executive is sent to retrieve his company’s CEO from an idyllic but mysterious “wellness center” at a remote location in the Swiss Alps. He soon suspects that the spa’s miraculous treatments are not what they seem. When he begins to unravel its terrifying secrets, his sanity is tested, as he finds himself diagnosed with the same curious illness that keeps all the guests here longing for the cure. From Gore Verbinski, the visionary director of THE RING, comes the new psychological thriller, A CURE FOR WELLNESS.”

A Cure for Wellness also stars Ivo Nandi, Magnus Krepper, Godehard Giese, Johannes Krisch, Johnny Otto, Mia Goth, Celia Imrie, Lisa Banes, Adrian Schiller, Susanne Wuest, Carl Lumbly, Jason Babinsky, and Eric Todd.
