CZ12 / Chinese Zodiac Trailer 2. Jackie Chan‘s CZ12 / Chinese Zodiac (2012) movie trailer 2 stars Jackie Chan, Oliver Platt, Caitlin Dechelle, Steven Dasz, Kenny G, and Andrew Dasz. Chinese Zodiac‘s plot synopsis: “Asian Hawk (Jackie Chan) leads a mercenary team to recover several lost artifacts from the Old Summer Palace, the bronze heads of the 12 Chinese zodiac animals which were looted by foreigners in the 1800s. Assisted by a Chinese student and a Parisian lady, Hawk stops at nothing to accomplish the mission.”

More on Chinese Zodiac:

The 58-year old actor is the action choreographer, writer, director and producer for the film, and has spent 7 years preparing and 1 year shooting in over 10 cities in 5 countries.

With CZ12, Jackie Chan…stars in a return to the Armour of God films that were part of his stellar ’80s film run. The two mid/late ’80s Armour movies were part of Chan’s international breakout, and the globe-trotting aspects of those stories, some of which were heavily indebted to the Indiana Jones movies, helped define Chan as an action star with broad appeal beyond the scope of martial arts movies.

Now there’s CZ12 (aka Chinese Zodiac), in which Chan once again reprises his Armour of God role.
