DADDY’S HOME (2015) Movie Trailer 2: Ferrell & Wahlberg Fight For Fatherdom

Daddy's Home Trailer 2

Daddy’s Home Trailer 2. Sean Anders and John Morris‘s Daddy’s Home (2015) movie trailer stars Mark WahlbergWill FerrellLinda Cardellini, and Paul Scheer. Daddy’s Home‘s plot synopsis: “A mild-mannered radio executive strives to become the best stepdad to his wife’s two children, but complications ensue when their freewheeling and freeloading real father arrives, forcing him to compete for the affection of the kids.”

According to Deadline, “Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg starred together as mismatched cops in the 2010 action comedy The Other Guys. Five years later, they’re sharing the big screen again — this time playing paternal adversaries. Here’s the first new trailer in four months for Daddy’s Home, a comedy that pits two kids’ mild-mannered average-guy stepfather (Ferrell) against their slightly less-responsible biker-cool father (Wahlberg) in what the latter labels “a good old-fashioned dad-off.” Looks like the cards are kinda stacked against Husband 2: The Sequel. As co-star Thomas Haden Church chimes in, “If this guy was my wife’s ex, I’d put a bullet in my skull.” But apparently the stepdad can be killed by conventional weapons, as we witness him survive a motorcycle crash, a leap from a roof to a skate ramp and an ensuing run-in with live wires.”

I grew up in Hamburg to a German father and Ecuadorian mother. Obsessive student of film, Hip-Hop, and stand-up comedy. I love the dark dreambox that is the cinema auditorium. I love mountains and the ocean, but am equally exhilarated by the jungle of the city. I hope to one day create something that hits someone in the brain with thunderous effect.
