Daniel Negreanu in X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Professional poker player Daniel Negreanu is making an appearance in upcoming X-Men Origins: Wolverine. We have all seen professional athletes make cameos in films related to their sport before. For anyone that saw Rounders, they may have noticed professional poker player Johnny Chan at the end of that film. In X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Spoiler ahead), Negreanu plays Texas Holdem against Gambit and Wolverine. Since Negreanu has World Series of Poker bracelets and two World Poker Tour Championship titles, it will be interesting to see how much of challenge Gambit and Wolverine offer him, discounting their non-poker abilities that is. One thing is for certain, Negreanu’s presence will add authenticity to the scene.
