DAREDEVIL (2015): Charlie Cox Discusses Daredevil’s Suit and More

Charlie Cox

Charlie Cox Talks About Daredevil. There’s only a few days left until Marvel’s Daredevil releases on Netflix, and actor Charlie Cox is clearly excited for the show. The actor revealed some details on the red suit, what he hopes to see in season two, and possibly joining The Avengers.

Speaking at a reddit AMA alongside co-star Vincent D’Onofrio, Charlie Cox teased about what’s to come for the upcoming Netflix series. He started the conversation by confirming that fans will be able to see a version of the classic red suit. “I love both of the suits,” he told one fan. “Obviously it was great to involve the John Romita Jr. black ninja costume but the day I first put on the iconic costume is a day I will never forget.”

Even though the show will be dark and gritty in tone, Daredevil will clearly embrace the comics in some extent, which is something Cox is hoping for once the show introduces some more villains in the future. “I have no idea if it could ever work in our show but I would love to see Stilt Man make an entrance. Maybe even Jester.”

With the show taking place within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Cox gave his thoughts on whether we can see Daredevil team up with the likes of Captain America or any other Avenger. “I really think Chris Evans does an amazing job as Captain America and I happen to think him and Daredevil would work well together.” So has the actor received an invite yet? “I have no idea if this is even a possibility but I can tell you that I would love nothing more. I don’t see why the character from our show couldn’t fit in with the Avengers, if he was invited.”

What do you guys think? Can Daredevil possibly join the Avengers?
