DAREDEVIL: Kingpin May Return According to Vincent D’Onofrio [Netflix]

Vincent D'Onofrio Kingpin Daredevil Return

Vincent D’Onofrio Weighs in on Kingpin’s Return on Daredevil

We got to see Kingpin make his return in Daredevil during the Netflix series’ second season. From here on out, everyone pretty much knew that Hell’s Kitchen may eventually see the return of the king of crime. Vincent D’Onofrio is confident that we will be seeing him soon.

The last time we saw Kingpin was when we saw the criminal running his empire behind bars. Even though we probably won’t be seeing him on The Defenders this year, the character should be making a big comeback during the third season of Daredevil. Perhaps the new season could tackle the ‘Born Again’ storyline from the comics for the villain. Vincent D’Onofrio spoke with Collider while promoting his new show Emerald City where the actor spoke about his character’s eventual return.

“He will, eventually. Honestly, I wish I knew ‘cause I could plan my year better,” the actor admitted, saying that he hasn’t heard word yet about Daredevil’s next season. “I know he will come back, I just don’t know when. I can’t wait to find out.” The show comes back in 2018, so it will be a while before we get any news on Kingpin making his big return in the Marvel TV series. The actor also got to add:

I’m totally into the Marvel stuff, big time. I want to do Marvel, all the time. I love it so much ‘cause they’re so creative over there. They let you bring this whole new thing to an iconic thing that they invented. It’s just so much fun. I love it to death. I want to see Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman. There’s something about those movies. I dig the shit out of them. I’ve been tweeting back and forth with James Gunn, about doing something with him because I love Guardians of the Galaxy so much.
