DAREDEVIL: Official Trailer for Season Two Introduces Punisher and Elektra [Netflix]

Jon Bernthal Daredevil Season Two Trailer

Netflix Unloads Official Trailer for Daredevil’s Second Season. We are eagerly awaiting for the release of Daredevil’s second season, and now we finally get our first look at the new season with the first official trailer. The video reveals a better look at Jon Bernthal as The Punisher.

In the new trailer, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) is still fighting crime in Hell’s Kitchen as Daredevil, but he realizes his actions also have consequences with a new threat looming in his neighborhood. The new threat is in the form of Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal), an assassin for hire who is also taking justice into his own hands after the death of his family. Even though he is being labeled as the Big Bad for the season, it’s pretty clear that the show is looking to make The Punisher as this conflicted and damaged individual who is about to make a big mess for Matt and his friends. The trailer also questions whether Daredevil somehow caused the rise of this new vigilante. The two men will soon butt heads when it comes to their similar yet different ideologies in defending their city. We also get some great fight scenes, which is what hooked fans last season with the hallway scene and we may be getting another one coming.

By the end of the trailer, Matt gets a surprise visit from Elektra (Elodie Yung), and it seems that the two happen to know each other. We won’t know more than that until part two of the trailer gets released sometime next week. Check out the official trailer for Daredevil and let us know what you think.
