DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES (2014): Judy Greer cast as Cornelia

Judy Greer

Judy Greer cast in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. The casting Judy Greer in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) answers the question of who will play Cornelia in the Matt Reeves directed film. The character of Cornelia was actually featured in Rise of The Planet of The Apes but that entire storyline was cut out of the final version. I am unsure if it made it out the DVD of the film. Parts of the storyline are still in the final film if you look for them.

On Cornelia’s name from Rise of The Planet of The Apes from IMDb:

On Cornelia’s from Rise of The Planet of The Apes from Wikipedia:

Devyn Dalton as Cornelia, a female chimpanzee in the ape sanctuary. Her name is the name of the chimp Cornelius played by Roddy McDowall in the original Planet Of The Apes.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes‘ plot synopsis: “A group of scientists in San Francisco struggle to stay alive in the aftermath of a plague that is wiping out humanity, while Caesar tries to maintain dominance over his community of intelligent apes.”
