DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: Heroes and Villains Work Together in Official Trailer [The CW]

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Official Trailer Gets Released. It may be a while before we see DC’s Legends of Tomorrow next season, but The CW managed to give us a peak at the future team-up series with the official trailer. We also have a few juicy details on some of the characters.

Based on the trailer from the new Arrow/The Flash spinoff, having two heroes like Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) aren’t enough when a future imminent threat is on the horizon. So both heroes call upon their former teammates and enemies, including Ray Palmer/The Atom (Brandon Routh) Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee), and Sara Lance/Canary (Caity Lotz).

Led by time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill), the team must work together to stop an enemy that may threaten the entire world and perhaps time itself. The question remains, can these unique individuals work together to save the Earth from this powerful foe?

Before the trailer debuted, it was revealed at the network upfronts this week that Caity Lotz’ Sara Lance will indeed come back for the new series, but instead of using her persona the Canary, she will be known as the White Canary. It’s possible that the Lazarus Pit may have played some part in Sara’s resurrection based on what we saw in the trailer.

After watching the trailer, you may also have figured out who the team’s first villain will be. The Big Bad turns out to be Vandal Savage, a famous villain from the DC mythology who is an immortal being bent on global domination.

The only person absent in the trailer is Franz Drameh who plays Jay Jackson, a former athlete who works as a mechanic. We still don’t know who he plays but hopefully we will know more as we come closer to the series launch.

So what do you guys think of the trailer of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow? Will it attain the same popularity as its sibling series?
